White space is a crucial element in design because it defines the rest of the
elements of the design. If you don't have white space in your design, it will
be very hard to read and most people won't like it at all. But there are many
ways you can get white space in web designs. You can use the CSS style
properties margin and padding (and other CSS properties), you can use
transparent images, non-breaking spaces, or even HTML tables or paragraph and
BR tags. Some methods are better than others, but what method do you prefer to
use?
